Relocating from AR to New Orleans. We are thinking of buying in Slidell. Can anyone give me neighborhood info?

Thanks for everyone's responses...great info! I've heard from several people that the best locations in Slidell are above I-12 because it didn't flood?? Also, any idea on what average home insurance runs in the area?
