Neighborhood sign and info box in our yard?

Our neighborhood is 3 years old and the last 7 houses were just built. My husband and I bought the house on the 1st lot a year and a half ago. The builder has not removed the sign or the info box. When asked, he says he will take them down when the last seven houses are sold. In this market, that could be 2 to 3 years. Does anyone know if he has a legal right to have the signs on our land?

Unless you signed some agreement to allow the sign and info box, NO, he cannot leave them in your yard. I would remove them for the builder if he refuses. ... See all 8 answers
