The closet is extra large with hangers, iron, ironing board, suit case stand and two dressers. The queen size bed is very comfortable, top wrapped, and toasty warm to be in on a cold rainy night. The large sunny bathroom is conveniently located off the hall next to the bedroom with a wonderful view of the mountains and Portland. There is ample counter space to work within and includes rich, thick, colorful towels, hair dryer, and soaps. The second room is furnished with a wrap around wall unit with a desk, chair, Wireless High Speed Internet and printer for your personal or business needs. If you like to cook the kitchen is available for your favorite recipe, and a washer and dryer are also upstairs for your convenience. The downstairs will be professionally cleaned weekly, and the linens and towels changed. ($275.00 monthly charge for cleaning service). You'll enjoy the quite neighborhood after putting in a long day, ending the evening with a 380 degree view of Portland, the western sunset, and the city lights at night. Because this is located on Mt. Scott you'll hear the frogs at night in the spring and summer, and some time have deer visitors. Down town and PDX airport is a convenient 20 minutes drive time, 205 connection is 5 minutes away. Kaiser Permanente hospital is a 5 minute drive to reach. Everything you would want to shop for is a convenient 5 minutes away on 82nd street. Happy Valley area is known to have some of the best schools, and safety coverage in the Metro area and beyond. The Happy Valley area is dotted through out with hiking trails and bike paths. The most widely used and popular is the Johnson Creek corridor, which connects Sellwood to Gresham, a paved path of 29 miles. Parks and rivers are also abundant in the Portland Metro area. There is plenty to explore along the Columbia Gorge, the fabulous wineries, boating and fishing on the Willamette River, and ocean shores.
